Varietal: 100% Cabernet Franc
Viticulture & Vinification Notes: The fruit is hand-harvested, fermented, and macerated for 24 days, and barrel aged in 1-year old French oak (Nevers) for 15 months. Prior to bottling the wine was clarified with egg albumin but not cold-stabilized. 407 case production.
Notes From The Winemaker: The only 100% Cabernet Franc wine found in Spain and in the Mediterranean region. This is a very singluar and unique wine. The color is a pleasant red and violet. There are extensive floral aromas of rose, iris and violet. Some vegetable notes with little red fruits. With great structure and elegance this is a special wine that is unique in Spain.
