                 Weingut Duijn

Jacob Duijn became popular in Germany as a sommelier working in some of the country‘s top restaurants. It was not until the late 1990s when offered the opportunity to buy a parcel of vineyards that he became a winemaker.

Switching careers he bought a beautiful steep vineyard on Bühlerthaler Engelsfelsen that was planted with old Pinot Noir vines and produced his first wine. Today, Jacob owns 8 hectares of vineyards planted only with Pinot Noir and his significant talent has earned him international recognition as one of the best Pinot estates in Germany.
