             Château Bélingard

Château Belingard has long been known for producing great wines and today it is the leading wine producer of the famous Monbazillac and Bergerac appellations. After taking over from his father, Pierre de Bosredon, in 1980, current owner Laurent de Bosredon passionately cultivates his 90 hectares of vineyards featuring 30-35 year old vines planted in beautiful clayey limestone soils.

Varietal:

90% Semillon, 5% Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Muscadelle.

 

Viticulture & Vinification Notes: Botrytized grapes are harvested, fermented, and clarified. The wine is barrel aged for 12-18 months and then gently fined prior to bottling.

Varietal:

35% Cabernet Sauvignon,35% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Malbec

Viticulture & Vinification Notes: The grapes are immediately removed from their stems, crushed, and fermented. The wine is aged in a vat and fined and filtered prior to bottling.

Viticulture & Vinification Notes: The grapes are macerated in contact with skins, fermented, aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks, and stirred and aerated before bottling.

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot

Viticulture & Vinification Notes: The old vines are selected and the grapes sorted, after which the stems are removed and the grapes crushed.
