Chateau Belingard Bergerac 2009

ITEM # BELR09

Varietal: 35% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Malbec

Viticulture & Vinification Notes: As soon as they are picked, grapes are removed from their stems, crushed, and put into vats. The fermentation period in the vat lasts from 14 to 18 days, with frequent recycling from top to bottom. After running off, the malocactic fermentation is triggered. The wine is then agred in a vat with frequent aeration and contol of the dissolved oxygen. It is fined and filtered prior to bottling.

Notes From The Winemaker: This wine, known for its Cabernet Sauvignon nose, can happily accompany most dishes. Red fruit flavor and apparent structure. At an ambient or slightly cool atmosphere, it is ideal with all types of meats (roast, delicatessen, etc.), or with fish or cheese.
