Weingut Duijn Engelsfelsen Pinot Noir Baden 2006

Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir

Vitictulture & Vinification Notes: The fruit is sourced from a beautiful mountainside vineyard around BÜhl featuring granite based soils and 30 year old vines. 100% of the grape clusters are hand-selected and the wine is then fermented in large barrels and aged for 18 months in new barriques.

Tasting Notes From The Winemaker: The average yield is 28 hectolitres per hectare. Our SD is a harmonious wine of great minerality and finesse. The great brother of Jannin, SD is a typical great Burgundy-style Pinot Noir with very elegant minerality. There is a nose of black cherries combined with well integrated oak notes. It shows already very well in its youth. This is a really great wine.
