Champagne Gremillet Brut Grand Reserve

ITEM # CGBGR

Varietal: 50% Pinot Noir, 50% Chardonnay

Notes From The Winemaker: Very pretty golden color with ocre glints that reflect its extreme lumonisity. Bright, limpid with a rin of fine, creamy bubbles. The nose is just like a breath of fresh air. It is instantly delicate and pleasant with aromas of undergrowth. It is reminicient of a beautiful summer morning with all the scents of the garden. the fruit is ripe and sun-drenched with fine, menthol vegetal notes. The taste is rich and luscious with perfect harmony between vivacity and mellowness. The Brut dosage is ideal for such a perfect marriage. With such a voluptuous finish how could it be anything less than noble.
I would serve it with first courses such as crayfish tails in a champagne cream sauce, oyster soup with safron, scallops cooked in pot or slices of fresh foie gras with white peaches.

Wine Spectator Magazine: 90 points. A firm, tactile Champagne, displaying honey, candied citrus and bread dough notes. Full-bodied and creamy, with a long aftertaste of citrus and berry.
