Viticulture & Vinification Notes: Part of the must wasfermented in oak,

the remainder was pressed. The wine was oak-aged for 1.5 years.

382 cs production.   

Wine Spectator Magazine: 88 Points. Smooth and supple, with savory, beefy spice, pepper and wild berry notes. Firms up on the finish,

where the tannins provide grip and structure.

Robert Parker: 88 Points. The finest of this group is the 2005 Syrah

Page Nord Vineyard. It possesses a dark ruby/plum color, medium

body, and a tarry, peppery, black fruited nose with notions of earth, smoke, and meat aromas. This rich effort is ideal for drinking over

the next 3-4 years.
