Oller del Mas Arnau Oller Pla de Bages 2006

Varietal: 100% Merlot

Viticulture & Vinification Notes: This wine is only produced in the best vintages. The fruit is from a vineyard with clay and sand soils and is harvested by hand. The wine undergoes fermentation occurs, is left on the skins for a 10 day maceration with frequent pump-over. It is drained to tank without pressing and clarified with egg albumin before being barrel aged in new French oak for 12 months. The wine is bottled unfiltered and left to age in bottle for a minimum of 12 months before being released.

Tasting Notes From The Winemaker: A very complex wine, it is the paradigm of the balance between fresh fruits, balsamic touches and spices. Arnau Oller is a wine with elegance. It is an exclusive wine that expresses the “terroir”, the weather, the nobility and the uniqueness of our estate in Pla de Bages.
