ITEM # RSFPN07

Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir

Viticulture & Vinification Notes: Vineyard designate. Cold soaked. Barrel aged for 11 months in 60% new French oak, 40% 2 year old French oak, Burgundian cooperage.

The Wine Report: 92 Points. Nuances of fresh raspberries and minerals. Expansive on the palate with red fruit, carbon and briar. There is a depth that only come from old vines…this wine will age gracefully.

Wine Spectator Magazine: 87 Points. Dry and herbal, with dusty
berry, cedar, fresh earth, mineral and sage flavors that have a loamy berry flavor on the finish. Drink now through 2011. 700 cases made.

Wine Enthusiast Magazine: 89 Points. The flavors of this Pinot, made from pre-Dijon clone Martini selection vines, are fine. They range from cherries and cola to sweet cured tobacco and buttered cinnamon toast to smoky vanilla.
