Tasting Notes, Reviews, and Ratings

Z’Ivo Mika 2008

ITEM # ZM08

Varietal: 68% Chardonnay, 34% Pinot Gris

Viticulture & Vinification Notes: The Chardonnay is a Dijon 76 and 95 from young vines. The wine was cold steel tank fermented and stopped before malolactic fermentation thus preserving its luscious fruit and acidity. Barrel fermented in neutral wood and taken through malolactic fermentation. 400 case production.

Tasting Notes: The blend is fruit forward on the nose with a big mid-palate of complex creamy citrus tones. The finish is long and lemony. Northern Italianesque, but bolder.
